Your width will have a lot to do with determining what model you select - either Sunstar or Sunair. Sunair has more size options and larger size options than the less expensive Sunstar.
The Sunstar model comes in 4 standard projection sizes of 6' 8", 8' 3", 10' and 11'6". The Sunair model comes in 8 standard projections 4'2", 5'7", 6'11", 8'7", 10'2", 11'6", 13' and 14'. Keep in mind your projection is limited by the width of your awning. The Sunstar model has more limited projections and some of the Sunair models must have XP Cross over arms. We will go over all of this during your On-Site Consultation.
We do wall mount and roof mount awnings. Keep in mind that awnings have a pitch to them so you will need enough header space on your house to keep the awning a minimum of 7 feet off the ground at the front of the awning, ideally you want 8'. This means we will be mounting approximately 9 to 10 feet off the ground when we attach it to your home or other structure. Sometimes a roof mount is a better option to allow enough clearance at the front of the awning. Roof mounts will add cost to your awning as it relates to brackets and install.
The Sunstar awning is available with three standard frame colors - White, Mocha and Desert Sand. The Sunair model is available in 9 standard frame colors - White, Mocha, Desert Sand, Black Gloss, Bronze, Gray Gloss, Brown Gloss, Taupe Glass and Green Gloss.
